Following the water, we came here,
To this womb made of stone.
The moisture surrounds us like an embrace.

The sun outside is warming up the city,
Reaching arms inside and laying mirrors on the water,
Multiplying openings into the world and injecting the water with light,
Only memory of outside, where Mars’ noise carries on incessantly.

In here, time drips slower, distracted by the pounding of the water,
Interrupted only by the reverberations of our steps on the uncertain slabs.
In here, we linger in the present, oblivious of the friction of the day,
Capturing reflections in a box, a fresh dance of intimacy.

It would be easy to leave and let the sun warm us,
Allow the tumult of life to drown out our breath.
And yet in here, you and I are one. Swimming in reflection

É seguendo l’acqua che siamo arrivati qui,
In questo ventre di pietra.
L’aria umida ci avvolge come in un abbraccio.

Il sole fuori scalda la città,
Tendendo le braccia all’interno, deposita specchi sull’acqua,
Moltiplica le fessure sul mondo, infondendo l’acqua scura di luce,
Unico ricordo di là fuori, dove il rumore di Marte continua incessante.

Qui dentro il tempo scorre piú lentamente, distratto dal lieve scroscio dell’acqua,
E interrotto solo dall’echeggiare dei nostri passi sulle pietre incerte.
Qui dentro io e te ci tratteniamo nel presente, dimentichi del tumulto là fuori,
Catturando riflessi sfuggenti, in una fresca danza d’intimità.

Sarebbe facile uscire fuori, riscaldarsi al sole,
Lasciare che il frastuono della vita copra il nostro respiro
Eppure io e te qui siamo una cosa sola. A nuotare nei pensieri.
